To help us solve it faster, please include your in-game display name, your device and OS version (e.g. iPhone 15, iOS 18.2), and — for a problem inside a match — roughly when it happened.

Getting started

What is Red Dragon?

A fast, modern take on Zung Jung mahjong: play solo against master-level AI opponents, or online against real players in ranked, casual, and private tables.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad running iOS 14 or later, and Android phones and tablets running Android 7.0 or later. Your account and progress are shared across platforms — sign in with the same method and everything follows you.

Accounts & sign-in

How do I sign in?

You can use Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address and password. All three reach the same account system.

I signed in with a different method and my progress is missing

If the new sign-in method uses the same verified email address as your existing account, we link them automatically and you'll land back on your original account with your chips, friends, and rank intact. If you used Apple's Hide My Email, Apple gives us a private relay address instead of your real one, so it can't be matched — sign in again with your original method, or email us and we'll help merge things.

I forgot my password

On the email sign-in screen, tap Forgot password. We'll send a six-digit code to your address; enter it to set a new password. Codes expire after 10 minutes.

How do I change my display name?

Open Settings from the main menu. Names are public to other players, so please keep them appropriate — offensive names may be reset.

Playing online

What are the different match lengths?

Quick is 4 hands, Half is 8, and Full is 16. Each casual queue keeps its own skill rating, so a quick game never affects your full-game standing.

"Multiplayer queues are disabled for the moment"

That message means we're deploying an update to the game servers. Matches already in progress finish normally, and queues usually reopen within a few minutes.

My turn timer ran out while the deal animation was playing

This is fixed — your timer no longer begins until the opening animation finishes. Make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store.

I was disconnected mid-match

Reopen the app and you'll rejoin automatically if the match is still running. Leaving a ranked or queued match early counts as a forfeit and can trigger a short matchmaking cooldown.

Reporting a player

Tap Report on the match summary screen, or email us with the player's name and approximate match time. We review every report.

Purchases

How do I restore my purchases?

Sign in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase and reopen the game — cosmetics restore automatically. If something is still missing, email us with your display name and the App Store receipt.

Refunds

Purchases made on iPhone or iPad are handled by Apple, so refunds go through them at reportaproblem.apple.com. We're happy to help if a purchase didn't arrive in your account.

Are chips real money?

No. Chips are a virtual in-game currency with no cash value, they can't be cashed out, and there is no wagering or gambling of real money in Red Dragon.

Privacy & your data

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app at any time — see Delete Your Account & Data for the steps and exactly what's erased.

What we collect

Our Privacy Policy covers this in full.

Still stuck?

Email reddragonmahjongapp@gmail.com with your display name, device, and what happened. Screenshots help a lot — especially for anything that looks wrong during a hand.
